Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. Exciting news has come from the Faculty of Halal Food Science (FIPHAL) at Djuanda University. A team of FIPHAL students has successfully qualified for the 2026 Student Impact Program with a community service project focused on post-disaster recovery.

The program they participated in is titled “Community Empowerment in Disaster Recovery in Nagari Tanjung Sani, Tanjung Raya Subdistrict, Agam Regency, West Sumatra.” This initiative focuses on community empowerment efforts as part of the students’ tangible contribution to assisting in the post-disaster social and economic recovery of the region.

This success serves as evidence of FIPHAL students’ commitment to applying the knowledge gained in the classroom to tangible actions that directly benefit the community. Furthermore, this achievement reflects a spirit of collaboration, social responsibility, and a high level of academic accountability.

The faculty expressed appreciation and pride for the achievements attained. It is hoped that through this program, students will not only be able to develop their personal capacities but also become agents of change who bring widespread benefits to the community, particularly in West Sumatra.

May the trust placed in them be carried out with full responsibility and bring blessings, and serve as the first step for students to continue creating and spreading benefits to others.
