Praise be to Allah and thanks be to Him. On Monday, April 20, 2026, the series of events for the UNIDA Innovation Festival (FESVA), held to commemorate the 39th anniversary of Universitas Djuanda (UNIDA), took place smoothly and with blessings.
This event served as a tangible manifestation of the beautiful collaboration and spirit of camaraderie between the Faculty of Agriculture (FAPERTA), the Faculty of Halal Food Science (FIPHAL), the Master’s Program in Food Technology (MTP), and the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM). FESVA serves not merely as an exhibition venue, but as a platform to honor the intellectual works of the academic community dedicated to the welfare of society and the advancement of industry.
FESVA serves as a solution to the challenges of research commercialization in Indonesia. In this event, UNIDA specifically invites investors to witness firsthand the potential of innovative products developed by the academic community. This initiative aims to open opportunities for sustainable collaboration and expand the distribution reach of campus-developed innovative products to a broader market.
“This event is not merely an exhibition, but a platform for the intellectual works of faculty and students that hold high practical value. We want to ensure that research does not merely remain in the library, but reaches the hands of consumers and industry,” said one of the event organizers.
Although organized in a relatively short period of time, FESVA successfully captured the attention of many parties. The event involved the active participation of various groups, ranging from expert speakers and a professional panel of judges to the creative energy of students who are members of the Professional Association (HIMPRO).
This success would not have been possible without the full support of the university and foundation leadership. The organizing committee extends its highest appreciation to Prof. Dr. H. Martin Roestamy, S.H., M.H., Prof. Dr. Hj. R. Siti Pupu Fauziah, M.Pd.I, Dr. Abraham Yazdi Martin, S.H., M.Kn, as well as the Foundation Leadership, and Dr. Nova Monaya, S.H., M.Kn for their exceptional guidance and attention.
Gratitude is also extended to Dr. Achmad Jaka Santos, Chair of the Board of Professors, and Chair of the Senate. This synergy is further strengthened by the technical support from the Vice Rectors, Deans, and Directors within UNIDA, as well as PT. UAM, which has provided both technical and strategic support to ensure the success of this event.
