Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. More good news has arrived from the academic community of the Faculty of Halal Food Science (FIPHAL) at Djuanda University. A faculty research team has successfully secured funding from the 2026 BIMA Grant from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (KEMENDIKTISAINTEK) under the Applied Research scheme, with a prototype as the deliverable.
This research is titled “Prototype of the HH3 Essential Oil Distillation Device Based on the Internet of Things (IoT) Application.” This innovation was developed as an effort to improve the efficiency of the essential oil distillation process through the use of IoT-based digital technology, and is expected to make a tangible contribution to the development of industries based on agricultural and plantation products.

Furthermore, this achievement also demonstrates the university’s active role in supporting the strengthening of national research and the development of appropriate technology.
The faculty expressed its appreciation and pride in this achievement. It is hoped that this research will produce a prototype that is not only innovative but can also be widely implemented to support the development of the essential oil industry in Indonesia.
