The Faculty of Halal Food Science (FIPHAL) at Djuanda University (UNIDA) has once again made a proud achievement by winning third place in the Regional Innovation Award for Higher Education Institutions with an innovative work entitled “Genjer and Watermelon Albedo-Based Analog Nori.”
👩🔬 This innovation was developed by a team of lecturers from the UNIDA Food Technology Study Program, led by Ms. Tiara Amanda Lestari, S.TP., M.TP, with team members Ms. Dr. Erna Puspasari, S.Si., M.Si, Ms. Raden Siti Nurlaela, S.TP., M.TP, and Ms. Wilna Iznilillah, S.TP., M.TP.
🌱 The Analog Nori Made from Genjer and Watermelon Albedo is a food innovation based on local ingredients and the utilization of agricultural byproducts with added value, serving as an alternative sustainable functional food product. This innovation aligns with the development of halal, safe, and environmentally friendly food, while also supporting national food diversification.
🎓 This achievement reflects FIPHAL UNIDA's commitment to developing innovative, applied research that is oriented toward community needs and regional development. It is hoped that this achievement will motivate the academic community to continue creating and contributing through innovation in the field of halal food.
